Fall Plant Sale

Cocoa, Florida. The Brevard Discovery Garden’s nursery will be hosting their annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, September 25, 2021 9am - 2pm.  This event is perfect for plant lovers wanting to add to their garden and/or learn more about the fabulous world of plants and insects!  Florida-friendly, native, and keystone plants will be available to bring home.  Find an abundance of edible plants that have been grown from seed by the UF/IFAS Brevard County Master Gardeners, such as tomatoes, peppers, and herbs, as well as beautifully designed combination pots.

The Brevard Discovery Garden will be open to visitors during the Plant Sale.  Learn more about beneficial insects, tips to attract more pollinators to your yard, or how to build an orchard in Central Florida.  Garden visits are free during the plant sale and do not require pre-registration.

There will be fun activities and drawings for the whole family.  Play a game of Discovery Garden Bingo to learn more about the resident plants and insects in the garden. Or enter one of the drawings to have a chance to win several pieces of artwork from local artists.

Parking for this event is at the UF/IFAS Extension office - 3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, Florida 32926 - which is  just east of the Brevard Discovery Garden and Nursery.

For payment purposes, please bring cash or checks.  All checks should be made out to the University of Florida Foundation.  Credit cards will not be accepted as a form of payment.

Masks are not required, but strongly encouraged for this event.

The garden is being developed by Master Gardener volunteers using a combination of Native, Keystone and Florida Friendly plants. The Garden will demonstrate the use of horticultural best practices incorporating beneficial plants to enhance our residential landscapes while improving the environment.
